Roadmap work previously called Kai PM is now part of Kai Copilot. Open Kai Copilot → Settings → Roadmap & changelog to configure it. The request board is under Inbox → Roadmap; release notes are under Outreach → Changelog.

Each job has its own mode:
Does it: Kai performs that job automatically within its rules. Uncertain cases can still come to your team.
Asks first: Kai prepares a proposal or draft in Needs you.
Never: that automatic job is off. Your team can still work manually or ask Kai for help.
The modes are separate for new requests, requester updates, release notes and newsletters. Turning one on does not turn the others on.
Kai reads new requests, scores them against your goals and suggests what should happen next. Ask for details lets it ask the requester for missing information. Spot what already exists enables duplicate and existing-feature handling.
With New requests set to Asks first, Kai proposes accepting, declining or merging, with a draft reply. With Does it, it can decide and reply; requests it is unsure about come to your team.
Under What comes first, review Revenue at stake, Your goals and the Company profile. Votes and momentum count. Revenue weighting depends on the customer revenue information available to the workspace.
A score helps you compare requests; it does not replace checking the customer problem and the effort.
Kai can draft from shipped requests and merged pull requests. Configure the writing style, covers, sources and schedule on the same settings page.
Asks first release notes wait for a decision in Needs you. Automatic publishing still has rules for posts that require review. A newsletter waiting for approval can be skipped if it is not approved before its scheduled time.
Tell requesters it shipped controls whether Kai sends the update, drafts it for your team or leaves it to you. Review this separately from publishing the changelog.
The Roadmap team receives relevant heads-ups and the optional weekly brief. Roadmap routines appear with the other routines in Kai Copilot.
