Some organisations may only let their support data go to certain AI companies. The switch Only use EU-based AI inference providers narrows the models Gleap offers you to OpenAI and xAI, and moves the AI features you've set up onto them. Organisation admins only. It's available on every plan.
This article explains the switch. For which providers Gleap uses in general and where they process data, see "Kai and your data".
Click your avatar at the bottom of the left-hand bar and choose Organizations.
Open Privacy & EU. The page is titled Privacy.
Under AI providers, turn on Only use EU-based AI inference providers.
The change applies to every project in the organisation straight away.

Model pickers for Kai, your custom agents, Kai Code in the cloud and voice transcription only list OpenAI and xAI models.
Saved choices are reset. Kai goes back to Auto, agents that used another provider move to an automatic model, and Kai Code in the cloud and transcription switch to OpenAI.
Kai Resolve normally runs on a model from another provider. With the switch on, it runs on an OpenAI model instead.
Kai Code on your own machine isn't affected. A coding tool you run locally keeps the model you chose.
Turning the switch off again shows all models, but doesn't restore your earlier choices. Pick them again where you need them.
Your workspace data stays in the region chosen at signup, EU or US, whatever this switch says.
You can switch individual AI features off in their settings.
If your organisation can't use AI at all, contact Gleap to have it switched off for your workspace.
